I’ve always had a drive to create and, more generally, communicate. Whether with pencil, paintbrush, or other tools, I love transforming creative ideas into tangible things. These days, I’m devoting more time  creating with open-source software. The old-school pencil and paintbrush, to me, are partners with the new digital technologies.

My general approach is to transform mundane digital images into artwork. What’s exciting? Colors. They convey my love of life. Textures and things that are more amorphous or abstract have always felt more natural to me than crisp, well-known shapes. I enjoy using technology to transform everyday things into unusual works of art. One major focus of my work is transforming digital images of flora and fauna into artwork that often do not resemble the original images. These images will be updated as I test out ideas for art pieces.
